朱利安是一个成功的地产评估收购商。他有一个幸福的家庭，漂亮能干的妻子和活泼的儿子。近来每天在上班的路上，他都会在咖啡座上发现漂亮的安吉拉日复一日，朱利安非常好奇，于是在妻子带儿子去海滨渡假时，他约了安吉拉一块吃饭，并在自己家里与安吉拉有了肌肤之亲，事后，他才发现事情远没有一次外遇这么简单。原来安吉拉是来报复的，因为她和爱人马克的公寓曾因无法按时还贷而被朱利安收购，而马克受不了这种打击出了车祸，于是安吉拉不惜一切代价要拆散朱利安幸福的家。
